TEX Rail Commuter Rail

The Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T) is developing plans for a commuter rail line from southwest Fort Worth through Grapevine and into DFW Airport. In late 2006, as part of a comprehensive sales tax election, Grapevine voters approved 3/8 of a cent to help fund this project, which is currently planned to start service in late 2016.

The City has also purchased property at the northeast corner of Main Street and Dallas Road to serve as the future Grapevine / Main Street station site. A second Grapevine area station is planned to be located on DFW Airport property just east of Dallas Road and Texan Trail.

Grapevine Visitors Shuttle

The Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau operates the Grapevine Visitors Shuttle, which provides visitors with a link to Grapevine hotels, DFW Airport, the Main Street Historic District, restaurants, and Grapevine Mills Mall. The 1930s retro-looking shuttles each seat approximately 23 passengers (and an additional six standing) and are handicap equipped to transport up to two wheelchairs.

The Grapevine Visitors Shuttle operates seven days a week. Shuttle information and tickets are available at all Grapevine hotels, Grapevine Mills Mall and the Grapevine Visitor Information Center.
